Ashlee + Daniel Wedding Sneak Peak- Tacoma Wedding Photographer

I have been working on editing this wedding a lot in the past couple of weeks. Between my husband and I we had so many photographs that were tough to narrow down. Even going through these images has been a joy for me- conjuring up some memories of their magic day. My husband has remarked to me several times since then, "I thought those two were really cool!" He is an excellent judge of character so that pretty much sums it up.

Rose + Brenton Engagements- Gig Harbor Wedding Photographer

I am very excited to show everyone pictures from a recent engagement session. Rose is from Gig Harbor where I live and she wanted to have her engagement photos here in the harbor where she grew up. We set out to take these photos on a very sunny day in the harbor. For anyone who lives in Washington they know that everyone flocks outdoors on a sunny day and so the harbor was very crowded! I had a lot of fun shooting with this two and we got plenty of shouts and whistles. It is to be expected because these two were looking good! Congratulations Rose and Brenton!

It's Mount Rainier!!

Family Portraits- Seattle-Tacoma Photographer

I had no idea what to expect when I was asked to do this cute family portrait session. It was to take place on the family's land complete with a pond with lily pads, a garden, a beautiful bright red garage and an outhouse. Everything was built by Valerie's grandpa. The whole place was stunning and it was really touching to photograph this new little family on a piece of land cultivated for years by their grandparents. Plus Regan was adorable! This is probably my favorite age to photograph, between 6 and 9 months. I just love how much this little one was smiling and getting so excited to feel the grass on her feet and the breeze that was blowing in.

Genevieve + Kevin Engagement- Seattle Engagement Photographer

As promised, here are Genevieve and Kevin's engagement photographs. As a photographer it's always my duty to try to make a photo shoot fun and get the couple to relax and feel at ease so I can capture more natural photographs. This couple however did not need any of my help. Right from the beginning they were laughing, goofing around and having a great time!

We all met at Gas Works park in Seattle to do this fun engagement session. Both Genevieve and Kevin had great memories of playing in the park as children. They brought along a football to throw in the park and it was a lot of fun to watch these two tackle each other and laugh. I am so stoked to shoot their wedding in September. Their personalities and the love they share is radiating! Congratulations you two!

As soon as they saw the old equipment they used to play on they jumped to it! Did I not tell you these two were so much fun?!
